Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

This book highlights the works of the late Alexander McQueen, whom is considered to be a creative genius. Although I do not view fashion as an integral part of my life, I do find the work of the late McQueen to be stunning works of art. Each piece is one of a kind, and unlike anything I have ever seen. I was unable to view his exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, however I can only imagine the beauty of these pieces shown through this book. The photography throughout the book emanates a chilling aura, a very cold and sterile feeling in which the pieces take over the page. He was able to secure a special exhibit in the Met shortly after his death, meaning he truly was a once in a generation designer. —Michael Leng
