W Magazine

W Magazine is a monthly fashion and culture magazine published by Conde Nast. It was created by sister magazine/newspaper WWD (Woman’s Wear Daily) in 1971. The magazine has an oversized format compare to the rest of the magazines under Conde Nast, it’s 10 inches wide and 13 inches tall. W Magazine is one of my favorite magazine because they are very creative with their layouts and grids, and mixes fonts with handwritings as well as illustrations. The magazine is also very easy to follow because it is divided into 6 main sections: Who, What, Where, When, and Why, as well as the WELL editorials. I love all of the WELL editorials, from the creative typeface they use to the beautiful images, each page is lively and contemporary. — Sara Chou
