The New Yorker

The New Yorker is a weekly published American magazine of essays, commentary, reportage and cartoons. It is published by Conde Nast. A 3 column grid layout is used throughout the magazine, the structure is simple. Classic serif typefaces What was interesting about The New Yorker was that on top off the full page ads there are also smaller ads on the corner of the page (taking up a 1 column space). Its odd but also gives the magazine the feeling of reading a newspaper. Also there are no coverlines on the magazine, just a full bleed photo or illustration. —Melisa Ozkan
