Plagiarismo

Plagiarismo is a design project (catalog+exhibition) at La Casa Encendida, a social and cultural center in Madrid. Walls are covered in typography, a plagiarized version of Helvetica. "Plagiarism is inborn, inevitable through history fields across music, cinema, art, architecture, and design". The use of space (the size of type and choice of venue at the exhibition and the destruction of the grid in the catalog) is visually compelling all the while questioning the ethics of design: plagiarism, a current issue in design.
