Lid Magazine

Lid Magazine is a photography art inspired magazine which publishes rare and never before seen photography twice a year. Popular figures like Madonna, Andy Warhol, and Marilyn Monroe have all graced their pages providing rare interviews with the artists themselves. The prints are all in vintage black and white photos showcase different photo shoots in their time. Because all the images are so classic, the magazine has a very simple approach to its typography. It’s nice to see the photography so carefully spread throughout the magazine. If the magazine itself called for a bigger spread, pictures will take up to two spreads or more for it. –Huy Tran
