New Typographic Design

New Typographic Design is one of my favorite design books about typography. It covers cutting edge work in typography and is beautifully designed. The book is a wonderful source to go to when one is in need of inspiration (even for non-typographic related design). While the focus of the book is heavily experimental typography, there are many entries of standard or more commonly used typefaces. Filled with vibrant pictures, innovative ideas, and loads of information about the work, artists and the subject of typography in general, this book is a must have in my opinion. –Alex Bulloch
